PROP: Clippers

Here we have K55X Hair Clippers in their original box, manufactured by Henry Kaufmann & Sons in Solingen, Germany. The manual clippers are fully chromium plated and clearly been well used in their lifetime. But there's also a mystery attached to this product...

I bought this item 20+ years ago at an antique market in Hobart for my father who was a barber. I thought he's like to display the box in his traditional barbershop. Upon his retirement, I utilised the box in rustic-style displays in our chocolate shop. It wasn't until I photographed the contents of the box for this advertisement that I discovered there's 2 pairs of clippers inside! Kaufmann and Burman clippers. Did I buy the box with 2 pairs inside or did dad put the Burman clippers in there? Since my father has taken the answer to the grave with him, I will never know. So, in this instance, a bonus pair of clippers are included in the price.
