PROP: Louis Vuitton Case

This item remains largely a mystery. It was anonymously donated to the store over ten years ago and has been part of our displays since its arrival. Admittedly, it has not received proper care regarding leather maintenance or routine cleaning during this period. Google searches identify it as a ‘Louis Vuitton Alzer 80: a vintage, hard sided travel case known for its spaciousness and durability, featuring the iconic Monogram canvas. It is considered a classic and emblematic piece from Louis Vuitton's travel heritage.’ 

The item is missing a wheel, and both side latches are absent. Additionally, the combination locks at the top are engaged, and there is a large scratch along the bottom. Despite these deficiencies, the piece features the iconic monogram canvas exterior, which remains largely in good condition, and is complemented by embossed leather trim, sturdy leather handle, rivets, and gold-toned brass corners.

Due to uncertainty regarding authenticity, the case is listed at $100 as a starting point. Interested parties are invited to inspect the item in person to obtain further information, and a mutually agreeable price can be determined.
